Just before the hard lockdown of July hit, we did a surprise installation outside Blue Door Kiosk with a photo backdrop made of pure sunshine! (aka wattle en masse) and gave away the sweetest little posies to bring some happiness to Newcastle

Brought about by The Naked Florist, 2019 & 2020 saw 12 local florist strip off and pose with their floral creations in the name of raising money for charity.

Feeling absolutely helpless in the wake of the 2020 Bushfires that ravaged our beautiful Country, I created a unique Australian inspired poster to help raise funds for WWF Australia. Together we were able to raise an astonishing $536
$2 from every Australiana Poster sold, hard copy & digital download are still being donated as ongoing support for rehabilitation of our flora and fauna

Behind the scenes is the chaos of a young family.
My son was the driving force behind starting ASAJ. I was determined to have flexible work hours to spend more time with my children. Very quickly, I learnt that working for yourself means more work not less, but is absolutely worth it when I have the privilege of creating the flowers for so many people in love, produce work I love and enjoy, and to show my children what women are capable of.
Affectionately known as Flowerbabe & Blossombabe, they are very involved in the behind the scenes and love learning.
My wonderful husband is my number one supporter and without him, ASAJ may not have happened. He helps builds all our props and keeps me fuelled and focused!
So when you choose a small business, there is very likely a small family behind it just like mine.

2022 we introduced the ‘Inclusive Calendar’. Multi-religious, world observances and public holidays all listed in one place, not just the typical Christian Holidays observed in Australia.
Well we’ve come back bigger than ever ready for 2023 with an updated version which includes multiple religious dates and observances, world observances and Australian Public Holidays as well as 2023 AND 2024 yearly planners at the back, just to be extra organised!
